Chuck Wagon Dinner - $20 per person - Friday, May 3 − 5-7:30 p.m.

Chuck Wagon & BBQ Dinners at the Cowboy Corral

Plus: Masons host a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, Festival Food Booths and Cinco de Mayo Brunch on Sunday!

Back by popular demand, a Chuck Wagon dinner is scheduled for Friday — includes the traditional Dutch oven method served up by the Little Antelope Pack Station — and on Saturday night, a BBQ Steak and Chicken Dinner with side dishes, such as paella, from the local -— and famous! — Carson Valley Basque Club.

Saturday morning is a treat at the Douglas Lodge #12 with the Masons hosting a $5 Pancake Breakfast inside the historic Masonic Hall.

Sunday will feature a Cinco de Mayo Brunch presented by Minden Rotary in support and partnership with the Douglas High School Culinary Students.

Festival food booths will be available throughout the event with all kinds of gourmet food: From Tri-Tip sandwiches to hand-dipped Corn Dogs, Teryaki Skewers to Chili Dogs and all served with a variety of sides and drinks, like fresh-squeezed lemonade and queso chips!

Lasso A Sweet Heart Deal Get Your Sweetheart Tickets to the Festival! Choose from concerts on Friday evening at 7p.m. and Saturday evening 7:30 p.m., a Family oriented concert on Saturday at 5 p.m. and a 1 p.m. concert on Sunday. Concert headliners include the Reno Brass Quintet accompanying Riders in the Sky; award-winning guitarist and singer Dave Stamey and Nevada cowboy poet Waddie Mitchell will rouse fans with rhymes, tunes, and comedy; world renown Hot Club of Cowtown; the Western swing band Saddle Cats; 2013 Best Solo Musician of the Year (awarded by True West Magazine) Mary Kaye and her band. Concert tickets are available for Friday night at 7 p.m. ($30), Saturday at 5 p.m. ($25) and 7:30 p.m. ($30), and Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. ($30).

Daytime events, not including ticketed concerts, are available to visitors who purchase Day Passes.

Daytime festival entertainers include: 

Virginia City-born singer and poet Richard Elloyan; Gardnerville's own All Hat No Cattle; as well as David Bourne, Ken Gardner, Slade Rivers Band, Tony Argento and the Cowboys By Night.

Day Passes are $15 per person per day for adults, $10 for kids age 12 and under. A special three-day pass is just $30 for adults, $15 for kids.

The Genoa Cowboy ALL Events Schedule page has been updated for the 2013 Festival.

Day Pass events dates and times, as well as main concerts for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

Check out the many fun, informative and historically recreated activities and goings on at the Cowboy Festival this May 3-5!

Day Passes are $15 per day for adults, $10 per day for children. A “3-Day” Day Pass — Friday, Saturday and Sunday — is just $30 for adults and $15 for children — That's a $15 savings — or 3 days for the price of 2!
